Abadpur -- In Malapara village of Bansgaon Panchayat of Barsoi block, late night on Friday, unknown thieves entered the house and made off with one and a half tola gold, seven tola silver and a total of seven thousand rupees in cash and made off with great ease. In this regard, the victim Foro Khatun told on Saturday that they were fast asleep. During this, unknown thieves entered the house and carried out the incident of theft. The victim told that when they woke up from their sleep on Saturday morning, they saw that the window rod of the house was broken. The victim told that the thieves might have entered the house through the window by breaking the rod. The victim's family told that they had saved the said jewelry and money for their daughter's marriage. They are shocked because of the incident of theft. On getting the information, the Abadpur police reached the victim's house on Saturday morning and took stock of the theft incident.In this regard, Abadpur police station chief Izhar Alam told that no application has been submitted by the victim's family to the police station regarding the theft. He has talked about increasing night patrolling.
